Hi! I’m Kiersten Ahlm, and I am a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. My passion for wellness led me to get certified as a coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Through this program, I learned from pioneers in integrative medicine, such as doctors Andrew Weil, Frank Lipman, and Christiane Northrup. My focus as a coach is to honor my clients as individuals, as there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to healing.
I have had careers in marketing, education, and sales. At 42, I felt unfulfilled and began to struggle a little with depression. Resisting my therapist’s suggestion to go on antidepressants, I began to research how to manage depression without the use of prescription medication. Through this process, I realized that when you get to the root cause of something, you have a better chance at coming out on the other side of it. Diet and exercise aren't the only things that contribute to health, so do your relationships, home life, creative outlets and sleep hygiene.
Honoring myself helped me gain the clarity I needed to discover what I was meant to do: help people heal. My path to becoming a coach has come more naturally to me than anything else ever has, and with this, I know I have found my purpose.
My decision to specialize in peri-menopausal and menopausal women who want to achieve blood sugar balance comes from the knowledge that getting this in check can prevent a whole host of chronic conditions (and even reverse some!) Together, we will can work to make a few simple changes that fit into YOUR life so that you can take back your health and feel your best!

"Kiersten really helped me determine and implement incremental changes to my lifestyle that would have the largest impact on my overall wellness, and she took the time to genuinely listen to my concerns. Whether it be hormonal changes, dietary needs, or help with anxiety, she is extremely adept at looking at overall wellness in a holistic way, and it is very clear that she cares about her clients."
The most powerful in working with Kiersten is that she listened beyond what was a superficial weight gain, to help diagnose a food sensitivity. It's powerful to have someone connect the dots to what was happening.
